Honest answers about what Djuripedia’s AI can — and cannot — do

Frequently Asked Questions

The power of AI — and why it deserves both excitement and respect

Artificial intelligence is transforming how we understand and care for animals.
At Djuripedia, we see every day how AI can analyze complex information, recognize subtle patterns, and provide insights in seconds — things that once took hours or days.
It’s fast, adaptive, and often astonishingly accurate.

But just like any powerful tool, it must be used carefully and responsibly.
AI can sometimes be mistaken, overly confident, or even produce information that looks correct but isn’t.
That’s why both pet owners and clinicians should treat it as what it is — a supportive companion, not a replacement for human judgment.

AI is not the end of expertise — it’s the evolution of it.

Honest answers about what Djuripedia’s AI can — and cannot — do

The questions below explain what Djuripedia’s AI can and cannot do, how it works, and how to use it safely and effectively.

What about diagnosing my pet?

Can the AI diagnose my pet?

Technically, yes — but legally and ethically, no.

Our AI can analyze your input, suggest possible diagnoses, and even reason through complex clinical scenarios. In many test cases, the suggestions have matched or exceeded those from medical professionals.

However, the AI has no legal authority or medical license, and its results must never be treated as a confirmed diagnosis.
It can also hallucinate (generate false or misleading information) or create a false sense of certainty.

That’s why we clearly say: No, the AI cannot diagnose.
It can suggest, compare, and educate — but only a trained professional can make an official diagnosis.

Is it really reliable?

How reliable is it?

Djuripedia’s AI experts are remarkably capable — but not infallible.
They learn patterns from massive datasets and can generalize well, yet they lack the human context and responsibility of a veterinarian.
A professional can also make mistakes — but unlike AI, they can take responsibility for them.

Our philosophy:

Use AI as a powerful assistant, not as the final decision-maker.

What can your AI export do?

What can Djuripedia’s AI actually do?

Our AI experts can perform several practical tasks:

  • Analyze anamneses and summarize medical history.

  • Interpret images (for example, skin, wounds, or visible symptoms).

  • Suggest possible diagnoses and rank them by probability.

  • Recommend relevant tests or lab panels.

  • Assess urgency (triage) and advise whether immediate care is needed.

  • Prepare pre-visit recommendations for pet owners (what to bring, how to prepare).

  • Assist clinicians with differential diagnoses and next-step recommendations.

Each result is generated instantly — but must always be interpreted responsibly by the user.

ARE AI ExpertS always Wright?

Why does Djuripedia sometimes give confident but wrong answers?

AI systems don’t “know” — they predict.
They use linguistic probability, not understanding.
This means they can sometimes generate plausible but incorrect statements — known as hallucinations.

We actively work to minimize this through testing and by encouraging users to report unsafe or clearly false responses.

What makes Djuripedia different?

Transparency.
Most AI healthcare systems oversimplify their capabilities or hide behind technical jargon.
We believe in honest communication about what the technology can do — and what it cannot.

We are not trying to replace veterinarians.
We are building tools that make them — and pet owners — better informed.
