1. Nature of Service

Djuripedia provides AI-assisted educational guidance related to animal health.
Our digital experts — including AIRA, NUTRIA, AIVET, and AIVET PRO — use artificial intelligence to interpret text or images and suggest relevant information.

These tools are intended solely for educational and informational use.
They are not medical devices, are not FDA-cleared, and are not regulated under the EU MDR (Medical Device Regulation) or IVDR.

They do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace the professional judgment of a licensed veterinarian.
All clinical or treatment decisions must be made by qualified professionals.

2. Intended Users

Djuripedia’s tools may be used by:

  • Pet owners seeking educational guidance.

  • Licensed veterinarians or veterinary staff using the tools in a professional context.

Professional users remain fully responsible for reviewing, validating, and interpreting any AI-generated content before applying it in clinical work.

3. AI Transparency and Limitations

AI systems can make mistakes or produce incomplete, outdated, or biased information.
Responses are generated using probabilistic reasoning, not human medical judgment.

Users agree to:

  • Verify important information with a qualified veterinarian.

  • Never rely solely on AI outputs for diagnosis, treatment, or patient management.

Djuripedia may update its AI models periodically to improve accuracy and safety.

4. Regulatory and Legal Compliance

Djuripedia’s AI tools are classified as informational and educational systems, not diagnostic or therapeutic instruments.
They are not subject to FDA pre-market review and do not fall under EU MDR or IVDR regulation.

We operate in accordance with:

  • EU AI Act (transparency, safety, accountability)

  • GDPR (data protection and privacy)

  • Consumer Rights Directive (fair digital service contracts)

Cross-border scope:
Djuripedia AB is established and operated in Sweden.
Outside Sweden, our AI tools and veterinary expertise are offered solely as educational resources and do not constitute veterinary practice in any other jurisdiction.
Users are responsible for following local laws and consulting licensed veterinarians in their own countries.

No-prescription clause:
The platform does not issue or facilitate prescriptions, medication advice, or treatment orders.

If any component is later classified as a medical device under applicable law, Djuripedia AB will perform the necessary conformity assessment and CE-marking before distribution.

5. Data Privacy and Security

All interactions are encrypted and handled according to GDPR and EU privacy standards.
No personal data or uploaded material is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.

Uploaded files or clinical data may be retained for algorithm-improvement and safety auditing for up to 12 months, unless deleted earlier by the user.
Professional users remain the data controllers for material submitted from their clinics.

6. Limitation of Liability

Djuripedia strives for high accuracy and transparency but cannot guarantee the correctness or applicability of AI responses.
Use of Djuripedia’s tools is at your own risk.

We are not liable for:

  • Direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including data or profit loss.

  • Misinterpretation or misuse of AI-generated information.

  • Medical or clinical outcomes arising from reliance on AI outputs.

7. Accounts and Access

Certain features (such as AIVET PRO) require registration.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your credentials.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the system.

8. Payments (for AIVET PRO and Premium Services)

All paid features are described clearly before checkout, including prices, renewal periods, and refund policies.
Unless otherwise required by law, fees are non-refundable once access has been granted.

9. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, AI prompts, and written materials are the property of Djuripedia.
You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or reproduce any part of the system or its content.

10. Modification of Terms

Djuripedia reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
Substantial changes will be communicated on the website or by email before taking effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, together with applicable EU regulations.
Users outside the EU acknowledge that Djuripedia operates under Swedish jurisdiction and does not claim clearance or authorization from non-EU authorities.
